The Best Social Media Monitoring Tool
In our continuing Social Media Monitoring and SOCINT/OSINT video series, I do a quick demonstration and review of HootSuite. It is what I consider the best social media monitoring tool. So far, what we have looked at are social media monitoring tools in their respective platforms - for example Twitter Advanced Search. Google Social Search and More with Social Searcher
In this video I share with you a fantastic social media monitoring website called Social Searcher. The website allows you to filter Google Search by Social Networks. The Google search results will only include the social network you select with matches that search phrase or keyword.
Where Social Searcher stands out to me is with the Buzz Dashboard. A plethora of data at your fingertips to sort and export to your heart's content.

MENTION - Social Media Monitoring Tool Review
I heard of Mention just the other day and thought I'd share a review/demo of the Interface. The Mention app is in a nutshell - Google Alerts on steroids. So many different features including sharing alerts/mentions with team members, a social media component, statistics, etc.
It is for pay but at a nominal cost of $20/mo.
Take a look at Mention as a social media monitoring tool - better than Google alerts.

How to Add Social Media Icons to Wordpress Header
A quick tutorial showing how to add social media icons to 2010 theme Wordpress header file. 3 step process:
1. Edit header image size in functions.php
2. Add class styles in style.css
3. Add div tag to header.php
