News Update: Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) Unveils Google Buzz: Social Networking for Gmail

Google announced GOOGLE BUZZ today - a product described as a new way to share and communicate via Gmail. The new product will allow users to share a profile, photos, video, status updates and other media publicly or privately. The new networking tool will allow the search engine to compete with social networking sites Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and others. Google will also use a built in spamming tool to sort out buzz you don't want to see from buzz you do.
